Bottler Brown |
| Gordon Brown and his aides spent several weeks fuelling speculation of an early election, causing a media frenzy and uncertainty throughout the nation. Then the Conservatives made an unprecedented turn around in the polls, soaring ahead of Labour and making it a real probability that Brown would lose, so he called off all possibility of an early election, denying the British people the chance to vote for the change of government this country needs. We don’t think Brown’s conduct was right or fitting of a British Prime Minister; he has treated the British public like fools. That’s why we are running the “Bottler Brown” campaign at Lancaster University, to highlight to Lancaster students that Brown is a weak and ineffectual Prime Minister who has literally “bottled” it over calling an early election. |
